The first clear day of Spring.
Families and friends wander about, holding hands and smiling.
Students look up at the sky in anticipation - cherry blossoms and young romance.
I’m thinking it too. I’m exactly the same.
Spring really has come, hasn’t it?
So awhile ago I reblogged a post by ianbrooks (which I actually do quite often) about this super cute Peanuts book. Then I came home and my grandmother had put up this God-awful wallpaper everywhere. I asked my grandfather how he felt about it and he said.
“Uhm. I like it.”
Me: “No, how do you REALLY feel about this wallpaper?!”
Dede: “I hate it. BUT if your grandmother likes it and it makes her happy, then I pretend to like it.”
Love is living with God-awful wallpaper because you want the other person to be happy.0
Reasons I love Switzerland
The whole country has strictly enforced quiet hours. The Swiss love their sleep, however, they also like to party.
As the vice-mayor of Ticino told us: “We love to make party, we just know to make party in the club, not in the streets.”
